TESTIMONIALS - RED HOUSE

Many artists have trusted Red House Studio to assist them in the design and creation of their recording studios. Other professionals, whether in the sound industry or not, have called on Red House to create home theaters, acoustics for clubs or restaurants, offices, and more.

Here are a few testimonials from these wonderful collaborations.

Labo -M- | Matthieu Chedid

“With Lucas and the Red House, we went far beyond that dream with the ambition to push the boundaries and create a truly unique place.

It’s a place that embodies the very source of music, with mostly analog equipment, and reflects all my great passions for legendary music.

At the same time, it's a place with incredible acoustics, cutting-edge technology, and above all, filled with symbols hidden in its forms and materials.

That's what makes this place, for me, both deeply poetic,

a source of inspiration... and totally alive."

After Now

“Gilles (After Now):

— Lucas, I would like to create the studio of my dreams, but I need some help to make it happen.

Lucas (Red House):

— I'll come down to Toulouse as soon as you've found some available locations. We'll bring everything we need for the acoustic measurements.

Two months later, together, 200 meters from the Zénith in Toulouse.

L: — How do you want to feel when you walk in here?

G: — I want to feel welcome in a warm place, shared by electronic music enthusiasts. I want people to feel safe and free there. The studio has one goal: to create unique moments around what matters most: sound.

L: — OK! So maybe there, you see, we could divide the set into four spaces... A lounge here, a large studio over there...

Twelve months of construction later. Inauguration of the studios.

L: — There you go. You asked for it... You got it!

G: — Thank you, Red House. You guys are geniuses.”

“Coming from the world of home studios, I asked Lucas and Redhouse to design a space for me that had all the qualities of a professional recording studio but without losing the freshness that marked the beginning of my career.

Being an artist first and foremost, I wanted to ensure that the creative aspect of my work was not relegated to the background in favor of comfort and technical qualities, which I also wanted to have at my disposal and which are specific to the large studios in which I have been fortunate enough to work for 30 years.

In the end, I still enjoy spending my days in a place that can accommodate a great mixer, a renowned pianist, a band, but also an up-and-coming artist, which I hope I will never cease to be.

All this in a setting designed with exquisite taste... well done, guys!!!"

MYD

MYD

Red House understood that I didn't want my studio to be just four walls and cables.

Mine had to be a living, blue organism. A place that changes with me, that changes depending on the angle from which you experience it, a studio that listens to me as much as I listen to it.”

La Tulipe | Marso

Lucas and the Red House teams created my studio, always being super responsive, attentive to my wishes, and truly inspired, both technically and aesthetically. It was a pleasure to work with them, and two years later, I am still more than satisfied.

La Chaumière | Caroline and Alain Attal

“When we decided to buy this cottage in the Yvelines, Caroline and I saw it as a place to live, hold family gatherings, and enjoy peace and relaxation during our weekends, just 45 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Paris !

The project was immediately entrusted to interior designer Santillane de Chanaleilles and her colleague Noémie Castera, whose team was given carte blanche to completely renovate the space.

Very early on, we decided to create a showcase for image and sound in this house, a screening room for all of us, and a mini-studio for our son, a composer and musician.

After discussing it with Matthieu Chedid, who had composed several film scores for our production company Tresor Films, we approached Red House to entrust them with this dual mission, starting with a space where there was nothing but walls.

This collaboration was truly fantastic, as Red House took charge of the entire creation of these two spaces, which they wanted to be interconnected and interactive. This ranged from the layout of the premises and discussions about the plans to the construction, soundproofing, insulation, ventilation, choice of materials, image and sound technology, decoration, and even the seven seats in the screening room!

Working with Red House was super smooth during this project, even though it was pretty complicated because there was a ton of work going on throughout the whole house at the same time, and it was really important for the Red House crew, Santillane, Noémie, and the site managers to stay on the same page.

We are now delighted users of our unique screening room, with its comfort and charm, and our son spends a lot of time in his studio.

To be honest, it's truly heavenly to have these two spaces in our home ! We can't wait to collaborate with Red House again on another crazy project !!”
