Location: Paris
In 2020, Théa Meneur commissioned us to transform a building’s basement into a music studio. In the heart of Paris, we proposed working with the basement’s vaulted ceiling to create an exposed structure of wooden arches.

In addition to the sound-absorbing material located behind the fabric on certain sections of the ceiling, as well as the front and rear walls, the arches help improve sound diffusion and eliminate flutter echoes.
The arch’s projection at the sweet spot (ideal listening position) is intended to add more depth to the ceiling treatment.
Innovative in their structure, the arches were constructed using a wood frame and created through digital cutting.
