THE ART OF SUBTLE SOUND: AN EXCEPTIONAL PARISIAN STUDIO

Client: Cédric Le Gall
Project Manager: Red House Acoustics
General Contractor: Red House Factory
Architect : Joseph Lteif
Acoustician: Basile Fay
Location: Paris, 17th arrondissement (France)

In a former mansion in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, now a building dedicated to audiovisual artistic creation, the client called on Redhouse to transform the building’s basement into a recording studio that would live up to his ambitions.

Extensive structural work was first required to reconfigure these constrained spaces and lay the foundation for impeccable acoustic insulation.

The brief was clear: a serene and subdued space.

The project comprises three distinct areas: a vocal booth, a small production and mixing studio, and a large, versatile studio dedicated to rehearsal, mixing, mastering, and production, serving as both a live room and a control room.

This studio was designed as a cozy, minimalist lounge, where just two materials ( cream-white fabric and dark oak) converge toward the ATC 110 speakers, the true signature of the space.
